2018年，我們將迎來溫州醫(yī)科大學(xué)眼科光學(xué)研究室成立40周年，眼視光學(xué)院創(chuàng)建30周年，附屬眼視光醫(yī)院建院20周年華誕。在此，謹(jǐn)向長(zhǎng)期以來關(guān)心和支持我院建設(shè)發(fā)展的各界朋友、海內(nèi)外校友和全體師生員工致以最誠(chéng)摯的感謝和最崇高的敬意！

從1978年成立眼科光學(xué)研究室，1988年設(shè)立眼視光學(xué)系（1997年升格為眼視光學(xué)院），1998年建立附屬眼視光醫(yī)院至今，眼視光人開創(chuàng)了眼視光學(xué)高等教育的“中國(guó)溫州模式”，領(lǐng)跑全球；眼視光醫(yī)院連續(xù)多年位列中國(guó)醫(yī)院最佳專科聲譽(yù)排行榜眼科第一方陣；在中國(guó)醫(yī)院科技影響力評(píng)價(jià)排行榜眼科學(xué)術(shù)影響力、科技影響力等方面均名列前茅。

為慶祝溫醫(yī)大眼科光學(xué)研究室40華誕，眼視光學(xué)院30華誕，附屬眼視光醫(yī)院20華誕，茲定于2018年9月至10月開展一系列學(xué)術(shù)交流和文化活動(dòng)。今特致專函，誠(chéng)邀海內(nèi)外校友、各界賓朋屆時(shí)撥冗蒞臨，暢敘情誼，同譜華章！

Letter of Invitation

The year 2018 marks the 40th anniversary of the Optics Research Lab, the 30th anniversary of the School of Ophthalmology and Optometry, and the 20th anniversary of the Eye Hospital, Wenzhou Medical University. We would like to express our sincerest gratitude and highest respect to our international partners, friends, alumni, colleagues and students who have been caring for and supporting the development of both the School and the Hospital.

Since the establishment of the Laboratory, School (formally the Department) and Hospital respectively in 1978, 1988 and 1998, generations after generations, despite the lack of resources, have made many scientific breakthroughs and pioneered the “China Wenzhou Model” of higher education, which has now been widely recognized across the globe.

Today, the Eye Hospital stands among China’s Best Specialty Hospitals in Ophthalmology for several consecutive years. Ranking 1st in academic impact and 2nd in technological impact in the “China’s Most Influential Medical Institutions Ranking (Ophthalmology)”, the School and the Hospital are now home to the State Key Laboratory of Ophthalmology, Optometry and Vision Science, and the National Engineering Technology Research Center of Ophthalmology & Optometry, pushing the boundaries of Ophthalmology and Optometry worldwide through the Eye system.

To commemorate this milestone, we will hold a series of events which include academic exchanges, lectures and symposia from September to October 2018. We cordially invite you to join us in the celebration of our history as we together write the next chapter of our prosperous future.
