1. Principal Investigator: Xinhua Lin, PhD
Xinhua Lin is recruited by the "Thousand Talents Plan" and the chief scientist of "973" plan. He graduated from the Department of Biology, Hangzhou University in 1984 with a bachelor's degree and later got his master’s degree from the Shanghai Institute of Cell Biology, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1987. Then Dr. Lin received his PhD from Washington University in 1995 and completed a postdoctoral training in Harvard Medical School from 1995 to 2000 .From 2000 to 2008, Dr. Lin worked successively as an Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Full Professor in Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. Dr. Lin became the PI of signal transduction and development mechanism research group in Wenzhou Medical University since 2008. Also, he was appointed as the member of editorial board of journal of Development Dynamics and Fly
2. Team staff: Xiaolei Ye, Ying Feng, Yi Lin
Scope of Research Proposal
1. Screening and identifying the new genes involved in Wg, Hh and TGF-β and other morphogen related signal transduction pathway.
2. Reveal the mechanism and function of these new genes in eye development.
